Bilingual Registered Nurse (RN) - Day shift, Monday through Friday plus Government Holidays!

Various opportunities available in the greater Dallas/Garland area. Responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Bilingual in any of the following languages is a must: Swahili, Somali, Kinyarwanda, Amharic, Tigrinya, Dari, Pashto, Arabic, Farsi, French, Burmese, Karen, or Rohingya

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications, monitor patient progress, and provide pre- and post-operative care.
  • Conduct physical exams, take patient histories, and interpret diagnostic tests.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans, in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other members of the healthcare team.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and reports.
  • Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-treatment care.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing assistants and other staff.
  • Adhere to safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their needs and preferences are considered.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Current RN license in the state of practice.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty.
  • Clinical experience in a healthcare setting; specialty experience may be preferred.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and medical equipment.
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills; compassionate and patient-centered approach.
  • Includes standing, walking, lifting patients, and performing medical procedures.
  • Adhere to ethical and professional standards of nursing practice.
