    Job Details
  • A hospital near Sacramento is looking for experienced ER nurses for a travel contract. The right candidate will have 2 years of experience, hold an active BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH and CA License.
    Job Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in ER nursing
  • Active BLS certification
  • Active ACLS certification
  • Active PALS certification
  • Active NIHSS certification
  • Active California License
    Schedule Information
  • 12hr Nights
  • Every Other Weekend
  • First to Float
    Unit Specific Information
  • ED has an average of 160-220 visits a day.
  • Nurse: Patient Ratios: ICU Pt - 1:1 or 1:2, All other ED Pt's - 1:4.
  • Common diagnoses/types of patients include CP r/o MI, SOB, Sepsis.
  • ED Technicians perform EKGs as well as vitals and patient care.
  • RT is in the ER 24/7 and completes ABGs & breathing treatments.
    Additional Details
  • Need 2 supervisory references (charge accepted) at submittal; 1 within 12 months & 1 within 3 years worked.
  • Modules are required to be completed before start; modules take 3-4 hours to complete and this time is not billable.
  • Unit has 24 hours to rescind offer.
  • Prior to acceptance, a dysrhythmia exam (basic) through UNA is required to be sent along with acceptance, to be completed within 24-48 hours.
