    Job Details
  • General job duties include PCU experience with various types of procedures required. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept includes Cerner System for charting and Omnicell automated medication cabinet.
  • PCU with a minimum of 2 years medical/surgical experience.
  • Nurse to patient ratio in PCU is 4:1; when floating the ratio may vary.
  • Dress Code: Navy Blue.
  • Unit/department specific training and orientation includes one day onboarding with Educator and two days on the unit with an RN.
    Job Requirements
  • Active DE License required.
  • Minimum 2yrs PCU experience.
  • Compact RN license preferred.
    Schedule Information
  • Rotating AP/PA. Sunday through Saturday; schedule may not be all together.
  • Employee will always be on the unit with others.
  • Option for On-call required.
  • May require floating to MedSurg units.
    Additional Details
  • The candidate is required to have an active DE License.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA are required.
  • Candidates must specify if they need time off during the contract.
  • The candidate's home address must not be within 100 miles of the facility.
