Large academic facility in State College Pennsylvania has an immediate and ongoing need for a Locum Gastroenterologist.
- Colonoscopies, EGDs
- ERCP and EUS preferred but not necessary
- It is both inpatient and outpatient coverage.
- Anesthesia is present
- PHYSICIAN WORKS TWO FULL WEEKS CONSECUTIVELY, inpatient and outpatient, starting on a Friday at 5pm.
- Scheduled procedure patients on Tue, Weds and Friday; volume: 5-6 (inpatient and scopes that can t be done outpatient)
- There is hospital rounding on patients during the weekdays (average 20 mins) all GI patients on weekends (average 3 hours), which averages 4-8 patients
- Clinic sessions: 8/month average, 5-9 patients per session
- Other: APP supervision and capsule studies
- EMRs are Cerner and Meditech
