Position Overview :


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Application Support Analyst for SAP ECC 6 with specialization in one or more of the following modules: SD/GTS (Sales and Distribution/Global Trade Services), MM/PP (Materials Management/Production Planning), SRM (Supplier Relationship Management), WM (Warehouse Management), or FICO (Financial Accounting/Controlling). In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical and functional support, troubleshooting, and enhancing SAP systems to ensure the smooth operation of core business processes. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders to resolve issues and implement improvements.


Key Responsibilities :

  • Module-Specific Support: Provide expert-level functional and technical support for SAP ECC 6 modules, specifically in SD/GTS or MM/PP/SRM/WM or FICO.
  • Incident Management: Investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex SAP-related incidents and issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business processes.
  • Troubleshooting: Analyze system errors, bugs, and configuration issues, collaborating with development teams to provide fixes and enhancements.
  • System Enhancements: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, identify opportunities for process improvements, and configure enhancements in SAP modules.
  • Business Process Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, optimize workflows, and ensure effective use of SAP functionalities.
  • Change & Release Management: Support the testing, validation, and implementation of system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, ensuring system stability and continuity.
  • Documentation & Training: Develop and maintain detailed technical and functional documentation, and provide end-user training to ensure proper utilization of SAP systems.
  • Configuration & Customization: Lead configuration and customization of SAP ECC 6 modules to align with business needs and industry best practices.
  • Integration Support: Collaborate with other technical teams to ensure the smooth integration of SAP ECC 6 with other business systems and applications.
  • Proactive Monitoring: Monitor SAP systems proactively to prevent potential issues, ensuring high performance, data accuracy, and compliance.
  • User Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for end-users, acting as the primary point of contact for SAP ECC 6-related issues within supported modules.


Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field. SAP certifications are a plus.
  • Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting SAP ECC 6, with deep functional knowledge in one or more of the following modules:
  • SD/GTS (Sales and Distribution/Global Trade Services)
  • MM/PP (Materials Management/Production Planning)
  • SRM (Supplier Relationship Management)
  • WM (Warehouse Management)
  • FICO (Financial Accounting/Controlling)
  • SAP Expertise: In-depth understanding of SAP ECC 6 architecture and functionality within the specified modules, including configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.
  • Business Process Knowledge: Strong understanding of business processes relevant to the module(s) supported (e.g., sales order processing, procurement, manufacturing, finance, etc.).
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex SAP issues efficiently, providing root cause analysis and recommendations.
  • Integration Knowledge: Experience with SAP integration points across different modules (e.g., SD with FICO, MM with PP) and external systems.
  • Customization & Configuration: Expertise in configuring and customizing SAP modules to meet specific business requirements, with a focus on best practices.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical information into business terms, and vice versa.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, business users, and technical experts to deliver solutions.
  • Documentation & Training: Experience in documenting technical specifications and providing user training on SAP functionalities.


Preferred Qualifications :

  • SAP certifications in the respective module(s).
  • Experience in large-scale SAP implementations, upgrades, or migrations.
  • Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager for monitoring and managing SAP landscapes.
