Eastern Quality Manager
Location: Corunna, ON
Salary: $140,000 - $160,000 + Benefits
Overview:
The Eastern Quality Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring top-tier service delivery in the heavy industrial and nuclear sectors. This position oversees quality systems, processes, and staff to consistently deliver exceptional results, while mentoring teams and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, technical expertise, and a hands-on approach to drive quality excellence across multiple projects and industries.
Must Haves:
- CWB Level 2 certification or higher
- Extensive knowledge of industrial codes and standards such as AWS, ASTM, ASME, API, ISO, CSA, NACE
- Experience with Nuclear CSA and ASME codes and standards
- Ability to perform, comply, audit, and assess Quality Management Systems
- Competency in inspection procedures across diverse industries including pulp & paper, mining, oil & gas, and nuclear
- Proven relationship-building skills with complex, large-company customers
- Ability to lead by example, developing, reviewing, and approving Inspection Test Plans and quality procedures
- Willingness to travel to regional offices and client sites
- Familiarity with welding, Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) techniques, pressure vessels, piping fabrication, and testing processes
- Knowledge of rotating equipment, assembly processes, inspection and testing requirements

- Experience with or willingness to learn fact-based decision making and root cause analysis
- Ability to chair quality meetings and make decisive, effective actions based on supplier corrective and preventative actions evaluation
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all Quality aspects of daily operations in the division
- Ensure that quality systems, processes, documentation, and skilled staff deliver exceptional results to both internal and external customers and stakeholders
- Mentor, influence, and lead regional Quality leads, Site Managers, and Job Superintendents
- Lead and maintain jurisdictional and regulatory certification requirements
- Collaborate to develop and implement a Quality program that aligns with strategic goals and enhances regional outcomes
- Identify, manage, and report on Quality risks and opportunities
- Allocate Quality resources effectively to projects in a cost-efficient manner
- Integrate core values into all business practices and demonstrate leadership promoting safety, quality, customer value, and integrity
