Long Term Contract

Travel: Up to 30%; Will be required to travel at least once a month internationally to Indiana, Kentucky and California f or physical/hands-on work. Candidate will be requested to travel at least after 3 months of starting this position

Job Description

• The Controls Engineer will be responsible for the electrical design on mechanical/hydraulic power stamping presses and related automation upgrades .
• This Includes HMI Design, PLC Design, Safety PLC Design, Hardwire Layouts, Panel Layouts, Risk Assessments, Field Device Layouts, Installation Supervision and Full Line Commissioning.

Requirements:

• BS in Electrical Engineering/technologies or technician degree or Equivalent Work Experience.
• AutoCAD Electrical Experience
• PLC programming experience (Rockwell, Mitsubishi and Siemens preferred) – Must Have
• Electrical hardware design experience
• Experience with equipment installation and commissioning
• Ability to multitask.
• Works well within a team environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
