Business Analyst/Data Analyst

Mandatory skills: Banking domain knowledge with SQL, Capital Markets.

Hybrid: 3 days in a week – HCLTech Mississauga office

Salary range: CAD 90,000 – 100,000

JD:

• 5+ years of hands-on analytical experience in working as a Data and Business Analysts
• Good Data analysis and sql skills and very good with large data crunching
• Analyse data patterns and provide statististical insights to business based on requirements.
• Gather requirements and create business documentation.
• Develop BI Visualization insights on potential areas of growth, optimization, and improvements using Tableau and Qliksense.
• Work cross-departmentally on data-driven strategies that improve business processes and decision-making
• Hands on SQL knowledge.
• Support business intelligence strategies with quantitative analysis.
• Nice to have Python.

• Experience leading projects end to end including international stakeholders

• Conduct end-to-end evaluations of existing processes to design and implement process enhancements and role redesigns to streamline operations and improve efficiency

• Financial markets domain - require to have basic knowledge and understanding of Capital Market Products – EQ, Rates – Bonds & IRS, Credit – CDS and Bonds, Commodities etc. along with understanding of basic trade life cycle (from dealer broker perspective)

• Experience working with relational / non-relational databases to turn into insights

• Experience with tools like SQL, Excel & Advanced Excel, Project Management tools like Jira, Confluence, SharePoint

• Hands-on experience in Scripting Languages (Python)

• Experience in troubleshooting code and logs

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English
