About the job  

Employment Type: Permanent. Full-time (5 days per week) 

Location: Port Coquitlam, BC.  

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible  

Salary Range: $55,000-$65,000

The opportunity  

Are you a detail-oriented problem solver with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences? We’re looking for a Implementation Technician to join our Customer Delivery team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing installations while providing first and second-level technical support to clients. With a focus on building strong client relationships and collaborating with internal teams, you’ll play a key part in ensuring smooth installations and contributing to our company’s growth and reputation. Responsibilities:  

  • Compile and review information to ensure installations meet customer needs and system requirements. 
  • Install hardware following manufacturer guidelines and specifications. 
  • Configure, test, and commission systems, providing basic training to end-users and administrators. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues, including hardware repairs or replacements. 
  • Complete and update configuration details and steps taken in Customer Services ticketing system 
  • Perform system reconfigurations or upgrades as needed. 
  • Plan and execute remote installations, guiding 3rd-party service partners when required. 
  • Address installation issues during warranty service calls. 
  • Prepare and deliver reports for customers or management as needed. 
  • Maintain timely and professional communication with customers throughout the installation process. 
  • Provide first and second-level technical support for customers and internal teams. 
  • Build strong customer relationships during installations and support calls. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams to achieve service goals and meet project timelines. 

 


What you bring:  

Education & Experience  

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent 
  • 5+ years of product support experience, including troubleshooting complex product issues 
  • Experience with installation or support of RFID  

 

Technical Skills   

  • Strong electronic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills  
  • Solid judgement, teamwork, and a quality-focused mindset  
  • Familiarity with project management principles; PMP or other certification is an asset  

 

Soft Skills   

  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities, with fluency in English (oral and written)  
  • French language proficiency is an asset  
  • Ability to produce detailed, clear reports and documentation  


Travel Requirement:  

  • Ability to travel within Canada/US/International 
  • Clean driving record and ability to rent a car is considered an asset.
