Our Ideal Candidate

Our Prince George division is seeking an additional highly capable Industrial Project Manager to join the team. As a successful candidate, you will have the opportunity to plan, coordinate and execute the design of a wide variety of industrial projects.


A Day in the Life

You will be capable of scoping, budgeting, designing and managing industrial projects for public and private sector clients such as pulp mill, mechanical, industrial, mining and other industrial clients.

Your duties will include:

  • Managing a wide variety of projects in the industrial sector, including brownfield and greenfield projects focused on mining, oil and gas and pulp and paper
  • Interface directly with clients, team members, contractors, and others to clearly define project requirements and expectations
  • Collaborate with a multidiscipline project team comprised of engineers, designers, project coordinators, and others, to execute engineering projects
  • Liaise with clients to understand project needs, scope requirements, and provide the client with project updates
  • Proactively resolve performance, scope, and schedule issues to ensure completion of work within allotted schedules and budgets and to high quality standards
  • Create proposals and fee estimates
  • Manage client relations at both a technical and commercial level to achieve client satisfaction and leverage further opportunities
  • Communicating with clients, agencies, stakeholders, and the public
  • Performing business development and marketing activities to current and potential clients to generate future business
  • Using your considerable organizational, communication and people skills, you will collaborate with multi-disciplined teams to ensure projects are completed within allotted schedules and budgets, and to high quality standards. Mentorship of new and junior employees is also a key part of our organization.


What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • 10+ years of experience in industrial projects
  • Knowledge of and experience with application of BC engineering standards;
  • Strong project management, technical and analytical skills;
  • Strong technical writing skills; experienced in the preparation of correspondence, reports and proposals;
  • Effective verbal communicator, including presentation, facilitation and listening skills;
  • Strategic, analytical and practical thinker.

  • Competitive salary range of $100,000 to $130,000 annually depending on experience.
