Job Details

Seeking an experienced and motivated Tax Manager to lead and oversee tax operations for a growing CPA firm. The ideal candidate will review tax returns, manage a team of preparers, and collaborate directly with clients to ensure high-quality service and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and sign off on a minimum of 500 individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns during tax season.
• Supervise and mentor tax staff in the preparation of tax returns.
• Conduct client meetings to review tax filings, provide tax planning advice, and ensure satisfaction.
• Manage tax filing deadlines and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Identify opportunities for tax savings and advise clients on tax strategies.
• Assist with the development and implementation of tax-related processes to improve efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Active CPA license.
• At least 5 years of public accounting experience, specifically in tax preparation and review.
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
• Experience supervising or managing staff.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
