Job Title: Test Technician
Location: Redmond, WA (5 days onsite)
Duration: 9-month contract to potential hire
Pay Rate: $25-28 an hour - W2
Openings: 10

Shift Times:
Front Half:
Sun – Wed – 1st shift: 7am – 530
Sun – Wed – 2nd shift: 4pm – 2:30am
Back Half:
Wed – Sat – 1st shift: 7am – 530
Wed – Sat – 2nd shift: 4pm – 2:30am
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience working with a manufacturing or Production environment
- Strong understanding of optics, photonics, and laser principles (familiar)
- Proficiency in using various test equipment such as optical power meters, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise procedures
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Photonics, Laser Technology, Electronics, or a related field
- Certification in laser safety
- Experience with fiber optic systems
- Familiarity with quality control processes and standards (e.g., ISO 9001)
- Knowledge of data analysis software and basic programming skills
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- Visual acuity to work with small components and read detailed measurements
- Manual dexterity for handling delicate optical components
Work Environment:
- Clean room or laboratory setting
- May involve working with Class 3B and Class 4 lasers under controlled conditions
