Essential Role + Responsibilities

Work Description: Industrial Engineer supporting distribution projects for electric utility sites. Supporting the effort to improvement work management through Process Optimization; specialized knowledge in analyzing and improving workflows, ensure tasks are completed more efficiently and effectively. Focus on Improved Process Flow, Work Balancing, Cost Savings, and Data-Driven Decisions.

The IE supports and advances Operational Excellence throughout the Organization, utilizing intenstive and diversified knowledge of industrial engineering principles and practices in broad areas of assignments, and leads initiatives to refine processes while reducing waste to yield efficiencies that deliver tangible benefits. The IE uses advanced techniques and the modification and extension of theories, precepts and practices to resolve issues related to safety, compliance, quality, delivery and/or morale. The Sr IE observes the work, conducts time and motion studies, stratifies losses and performs root cause analysis to identify opportunities for improvement. The IE helps implement new and enhanced processes, technologies, policies, and standard work to deliver quality safely, in compliance and within cost and timeliness expectations.
