What You’ll Do:
- Work closely with senior staff to develop engineering drawings and written specifications.
- Conduct Special Inspections for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood.
- Perform site visits to assess existing structures and monitor ongoing construction.
- Prepare clear, concise reports and communicate with clients, architects, and contractors.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a structural focus and 1-4 years of relevant experience.
- EIT certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
- Proficiency with engineering software such as AutoCAD, REVIT, MS Office, and RAM.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to juggle multiple assignments.
Preferred Skills:
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Concentration.
- ICC Special Inspector certifications and experience performing inspections.
- Experience in construction administration.
