Job description
- Perform trade-off analysis on various digital algorithms and techniques to compensate RF impairments and to simplify RF hardware design requirements for wireless communications.
- Design and implement algorithms to compensate RF impairments, further simplify algorithms for mass production chips.
- Explore potential research directions for future wireless communication products, such as using new emerging techniques to improve transceiver performance under cost constraint.
- Be able to work efficiently with multi-site cooperations, and attend meetings across time zones (for example, Taiwan and UK).
Desired Skills and Experience
- MS or PhD in EE or related fields, recent graduate or will graduate within a year.
- Extensive knowledge of wireless communication theory and digital signal processing.
- Good understanding of RF transceiver architectures and RF impairments.
- Hands-on experience in MATLAB and C/C++.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of 802.11 Wi-Fi standards and system design is a major plus.
- Experience in laboratory and field measurement is a plus.
