• Managing environmental programs : Developing, implementing, and coordinating environmental programs, projects, and activities
• Ensuring compliance : Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and policies
• Supervising staff : Assigning, reviewing, and evaluating the work of staff, and providing leadership and support
• Conducting inspections : Conducting inspections and investigating complaints to ensure work meets standards
• Managing hazardous materials : Ensuring proper monitoring, storage, handling, and disposal of hazardous materials and waste
• Reviewing records : Reviewing records of environmental consideration, assessments, and impact statements
