Job Description & Skill Set Comparison
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Engineer to join our team specializing in hydraulics and environmental engineering. This position offers hands-on experience in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, as well as opportunities to contribute to urban infrastructure and water resource projects.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Passed FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) exam.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling of wastewater and stormwater drainage systems.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, ArcGIS, and hydrologic/hydraulic software such as EPA SWMM, HEC-RAS, HY8, and TR-55.
- Strong GIS analysis, hydraulic calculations, data analysis, and report writing skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop designs, drawings, and specifications for stormwater-related projects.
- Conduct GIS analyses, hydrology modeling, and hydraulic calculations for various water resource projects.
- Perform on-site evaluations and fieldwork as required.
- Assist in resolving design and construction challenges.
- Manage budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time.
- Prepare cost estimates and project schedules.
- Support bidding processes and construction administration.
- Provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level staff in a collaborative team environment.
- Adapt to changing project needs and explore new software tools and techniques.
- Participate in field investigations to gather essential project data.
