As a Development Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting our customer with development of solutions using Keysight’s market leading 5G Network Emulation products. This role is working with a major chipset developer to ensure the development and verification of 5G GCF and PTCRB protocol test cases on their chipsets.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Analysis of 3GPP specifications.
• Adaption of TTCN3 test cases to run on customers chipset
• Development of Keysight SW to enable TTCN3 tests to run on Keysight products
• Debugging, enhancing or fixing of the existing protocol scripts.
• Verification and Validation collections of scripts at the customer site.

Gain in-depth knowledge of Keysight products.

• Drafting customer requirements and communicating with the Keysight Development teams.
• Capturing customer needs and priorities, acting and communicating appropriately.
• Providing technical support to our customer.
• Technical collaborations with other device manufacturers or Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) to resolve protocol issues.

Your duties are to provide hands on development, verification and support. To work with the other Keysight teams to ensure an optimum solution for the chipset customers GCF/PTCRB validation process. You are also required to provide guidance on general day to day technical support issues to the client.

You will work with the developers and product planners providing feedback on the customer interfaces and tools to ensure that Keysight maintains its market leading technology in this field. Your insight of the customer issues and challenges are vital to ensure that the interfaces and tools are continually improved to ensure ease of use.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent in RF Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Radio systems or similar.

• More than 5 years’ experience with RF measurement or 3GPP communications Protocol

• At least 3 years' experience in customer facing role

• Experience in Protocol testing tools and TTCN3

• Good written and speech skills in English
