Maintenance Engineer
Our client is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong background in commercial building operations. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and communicative professional capable of ensuring optimal functioning of building systems and responding efficiently to tenant needs.

Focus:
- Conduct regular maintenance and operational checks of all building systems and equipment.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facilities and equipment to ensure minimal downtime.
- Ensure compliance with all local and regional licensing requirements for building operations.
- Engage in on-call support, including after-hours, weekends, and holiday shifts as needed.
- Utilize basic computer skills to maintain accurate records of maintenance work.
- Communicate effectively with building occupants, providing high-quality service and timely problem resolution.
- Utilize motorized equipment and vehicles in a responsible manner and engage in manual labor that includes lifting objects weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Perform tasks requiring physical activity, including ladder work, handling overhead tasks, and exposure to various environmental conditions
Skill Set:
- Minimum of two years’ experience in commercial building operations.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.
- Possess all necessary credentials and permits mandated by local or regional governing bodies for the operation and maintenance of commercial facilities.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and Microsoft 365.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with a focus on service orientation.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Preferred:
- Experience in healthcare facility maintenance
- Possess industry-recognized certifications in environmentally sustainable practices and green technologies, such as those related to refrigerant handling, sustainable maintenance, and eco-friendly design.
