Our client, a fast-growth startup backed by top-tier investors is helping go-to-market teams drive revenue through a no-code platform that integrates product and customer insights for better acquisition, conversion, and growth. They are rapidly growing and seeking a Platform Software Engineer to build a distributed data platform that is reliable and extensible. This role is critical as it is the basis of everything that their app is built on.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale a distributed data platform using AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Typescript, Kotlin, and GraphQL.
• Develop a data ingestion layer, transformation engine, query engine, and workflow system for real-time processing and integrations.
• Drive platform reliability, scalability, and feature richness with autonomy and ownership.
• Maintain best-in-class engineering practices with a focus on code review, documentation, and testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in STEM Degree.
• 5+ years of experience in large-scale systems (no front-end or freelance experience).
• Proficiency in cloud environments and backend programming.
• Proven experience in scaling systems at startups.
• Experience with TypeScript, Kotlin, Next.js or similar languages.
• Experience with GraphQL, LLMs (Large Language Models).
• U.S. work authorization (no visa sponsorships at this time).
