Driver - CMC - EstellennHuntsville, Texas, United StatesnnEngineering, Crafts, Trades & LabornnUTMB HealthnnRequisition # 2405437nnThe mission of Correctional Managed Care is to address the healthcare needs of underserved patient populations within the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) and the Texas Juvenile Justice Department (TJJD).nnJOB SUMMARY:nnProvides for the routine operation and minor maintenance of Correctional Managed Care vehicles in the transportation of materials or passengers.nnESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:nnTransfers patients and other assigned passengers on and/or off-campus, assisting them in entering and exiting vehicle.nnDelivers and/or retrieves materials as instructed.nnAssists in the loading and unloading of materials from vehicle.nnMaintains daily log of mileage, number of trips, passengers/cargo, destination, and fuel and oil consumption.nnInspects condition of assigned vehicle on a regular basis with regard to oil, fuel, tires, and water.nnReports any needed adjustments or repairs to supervisors.nnAdheres to internal controls and reporting structure established for department.nnPerforms related duties as required.nnEQUIPMENT:nnOperation of vehicles, including trucks or vans.nnWORK ENVIRONMENT:nnLocated within the confines of a prison, jail or juvenile detention center.
