Hepaco, A Clean Harbors Company is actively seeking a motivated Class A CDL Truck Operator to join our team. In this role, you will operate a diverse range of heavy and light-duty trucks and work equipment at various customer sites. Common vehicles include vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll-off trucks. Your responsibilities will involve both driving and non-driving tasks related to hazardous waste cleanup.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize health and safety by adhering to safe work practices and policies.
  • Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers in a collaborative team environment.
  • Provide loading and unloading services for trucks.
  • Conduct manual labor on-site to meet customer needs.
  • Ensure vehicles are properly placarded in compliance with Company and DOT regulations.
  • Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and reports.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal compliance regulations.
  • Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT guidelines.
  • Follow corporate operating guidelines and environmental health and safety procedures.
  • Be available for emergency response on a rotating basis.
  • Participate in site remediation, equipment decontamination, and hazardous materials handling.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Class A CDL.
  • Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment.
  • Proficient in using various mobile devices.
  • Capability to perform physical tasks required for the job.
  • Successful completion of a background check, drug test, and physical examination.
  • Must meet OSHA Respiratory Protection Standards for positions requiring respirators.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience as a commercial driver.
  • Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
  • Previous experience handling hazardous materials.
  • Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles.
  • Experience in manual labor roles.
