The Driver will transport products in a safe manner by following proper DOT regulations. As the face of the company, the Driver will deliver products to customers on time while providing excellent customer service.nnJoin the Bunzl team and be proud to say "I AM BUNZL."nnA Day in the Life: tractor-trailer combination in a safe and professional manner at all timesnnDelivers products to customers on time, while providing complete customer servicennTransfers materials and items from trailer to dock area or other designated area by hand, hand truck, manual pallet jack, or electric pallet jacknnBackhauls as requirednnMaintains DOT logs daily and complies with all other DOT procedures/regulationsnnConducts pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tractor and trailer units, in compliance with DOT regulationsnnMaintains a clean, organized and safe work environmentnnRequirements:nnHigh school diploma or equivalent preferrednnMust have a valid CDL Class A license with Doubles/Triples endorsements a plusnnMinimum 2 years' experience in commercial transportation or a graduate of an accredited truck driving schoolnnMust be able to travel Over-the-Road approximately 75% of the timennAbility to operate a tractor-trailer in a safe and efficient mannernnPossess knowledge of all applicable State and Federal DOT regulationsnnCapacity to read and correctly interpret route manifests and invoicesnnAbility and willingness to work varying routes and required overtime as assigned by SupervisornnMust be able to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation (occasionally 60-75 lbs)nnPrevious experience with an Automatic On-Board Recording Device (AOBRDs) such as SAMSARA is preferrednnBenefits & PerksnnThe perks of being a Bunzl employee do not stop at being part of a great team or being valued as our #1 asset.
