Overview
Sun Mountain Custom Doors, an industry-leading manufacturer of custom doors and other architectural millwork products, is seeking a Delivery Driver (in Colorado only, no out-of-state delivery). Overtime is frequent (but not guaranteed), so the candidate must be available to work overtime on some weekdays, or occasionally stay overnight for a delivery (no weekends). A significant incentive bonus of up to $3.00 per hour is also included, increasing the hourly wage to $25.00 to $30.00/hour (will be discussed during interview/at hire).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Delivering doors and architectural millwork, handling and safely moving heavy materials to homes and jobsites
• Driving a 26-foot straight box truck with air brakes.
• Assisting in preparing and crating product for shipment.
• Loading and unloading product from the truck.
• Communicating respectfully and effectively with customers.
• Accessing information via computer.
• Printing reports/schedules and referencing them to complete job orders.
• Complying with health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Taking direction from supervisor to ensure work is completed.
• Working in cooperation with a small group.
• Occasionally staying overnight on travel for longer delivery trips.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least three years of relevant driving and delivery experience.
• Mountain driving experience.

Qualifications:

• Experience driving a 26-foot straight box truck or similar.
• Experience unloading, moving, and shifting large or bulky products.
• Proven reliability and dependability.
• Good verbal communication skills and professional presentation.
• Good driving history verified via Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Flexibility, including the ability to adapt to changes in priority.
• Knowledge of hand tools is helpful.
• Driving with a manual shift a plus.
• Experience with air brakes a plus.
• Class B CDL license with an air brake endorsement a plus.
• Valid driver's license required

Physical Demands:

• Must have a medical certification card or be able to obtain one by passing a DOT physical.
• Must pass a pre-employment DOT drug screen and background check
• Ability to lift up to 125 pounds.
