Hiring Immediately!nnOvertime EligiblennOpportunity to attend our CDL schoolnnYear-round, full-time employment, with benefitsnnCompetitive PaynnWe are looking for a safety conscious Driver Helper to join the team at our location in Charlotte, NC.nnThe Helper position is responsible for helping the driver of a garbage truck on specified routes to manually collect solid waste and transport it to appropriate disposal sites.nnTypical job duties include (but are not limited to):nnRide on garbage truck to assist the Driver service customers - will load refuse bags and bring containers to the truck for proper disposal.nnDirecting the truck driver when backingnnAssisting with vehicle maintenancennOperate packing mechanisms and levers to activate the loading armnnClean the packer blade and truck bodynnDeliver positive customer service interactionsnnPerform other job-related duties as assigned.nnThis is a very physical job.
