Equipment may include but not limited to vending machines, coolers, restaurant fountain equipment and coffee dispensing equipment. This position is responsibility for performing preventative and quality maintenance checks in addition to maintaining various records and reports.nnESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESnnDeliver, remove, exchange, and relocate beverage equipment.nnLoad and unload beverage equipment for delivery and/or return.nnCommunicate with customers and supervisors regarding delivery and pick up status.nnCooler placement - which involves checking temperature and refrigeration.nnEducate customers in operation of equipment.nnAssist with installations, removals, and relocations of fountain equipment (post mix or premix) and coffee dispensing equipment.nnTroubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment.nnOperate a motor vehicle, both manual and automatic transmissions.nnMaintain on-vehicle parts inventory.nnGenerate parts requests to ensure adequate inventory.nnMaintain and complete required paperwork such as work tickets, parts list, vehicle inspections, etc.nnRebuild and repair parts and equipment.nnUse electronic handheld devise such as IPad for data entry and retrieval.nnProvide quality customer service including driving to customer locations to deliver and/or repair equipment.nnMaintain clean and safe work area.nnScheduling flexibility is required.nnConform with, abide by, and re-enforce all regulations, policies, work procedures, and processes.nnJOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIESnnMechanical skills.nnSelf-motivated with a high degree of integrity and ability to perform job with minimal supervision on a timely basisnnAbility to follow manufacturers’ specifications and schematics.nnElectrical problem diagnosis and repair.nnProgrammable Logic Control (PLC) knowledge preferred.nnValid driver’s license and a motor vehicle driving history that meets Company guidelines.nnAdaptability – Ability to adapt to change in the workplace.nnCommunication – Ability to effectively, clearly and concisely communicate verbally and in writing.nnDecision Making – Display willingness to make critical decisions while following company practices.nnEnthusiasm – Ability to bring energy to the day-to-day as well as long-term tasks and plans.nnJudgment – Display willingness to make timely decisions and exhibit sound and accurate judgment.nnPlanning & Organizing – Ability to prioritize and plan work activities, use time efficiently and develop realistic action plans.nnReliability – Demonstrate regular attendance and availability to staff and management.nnQuality Management – Demonstrate commitment to improve and promote quality in all operating areas.nnSafety & Security – Promote and personally observe safety and security procedures, use equipment, and materials properly.nnHonesty, Integrity, Trust & Respect – Must be seen as truthful and credible and exhibit respectful behavior in all actions representing the company.nnRequirementsnnEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEnnHigh School diploma or GED required.nn1-3 years of general work experience required.nnRefrigeration/HVAC trade or vocational certification preferred.nnGeneral plumbing and technical experience preferred.nnDemonstrated mechanical, technical and electrical aptitude.nnBasic computer skills.nnPrior work experience with moving equipment preferred.nnPrevious vending equipment repair and distribution a plus.nnForklift certification preferred.nnPrevious experience within high-speed industrial environment preferrednnMay be required to supply hand tools.nnPHYSICAL DEMANDSnnAbility to do heavy lifting on a daily basis. Must be able to lift 75 lbs.nnMust be able to work standing for long periods.nnMust be able to work in various work environments including but not limited to heights, confined spaces and outdoors.nnWork involves walking, talking and hearing, using hands to handle, feel or operate objects.
