Objectives of this Role - Operate heavy equipment with the highest priority of achieving accuracy
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities - Must be able to operate heavy equipment proficiently and with minimal supervision once trained
- Interact with inspectors, DOT personnel, and Engineers as needed
- Communicate with operators or supervisor to ensure production runs smoothly
- Daily inspection of equipment
- Must be mechanically inclined & inspect and maintain equipment schedule
- Must be safety conscious in all conditions
- Wear P.P.E as required
Skills and Qualifications - Class A Driver's license with tanker endorsement and good driving record, complete inspections, logs and fuel reports
- Ability to make decisions in difficult conditions
- Mechanical ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Knowledge of job specific safety practices
Requirements - U.S. Work Authorization
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds
- Ability to work overnight if the project necessitates
- Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions including heat, cold, wind, rain and dusty environments
- Must be able to pass drug screening
- Must be able to stand on concrete for long periods of time
- Ability to maneuver on or around equipment & be able to get under equipment to work on it
Compensation: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
