Essential Job Functions include those listed below.nnESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:nnTransportation of participants to appropriate Community Based Providers.nnMaintain log for vehicle service.nnMaintenance daily of vehicles used for participant transportation.nnMaintain log sheet of participant transportations.nnEmbrace and embody the mission, vision, guiding principles, clinical vision, and goals of WestCare Foundation; andnnPerform all other duties as assigned.nnQualificationsnnESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:nnTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.nnPossession of a valid Class “C” Driver’s License, although a Class “B” is preferred.nnCPR Certification, First Aid CertificationnnMust have the ability to obtain CDCR Prison Clearance.nnAbility to pass a criminal history investigation; andnnMust be able to qualify for WestCare vehicle insurance.nnDuring your tenure with WestCare there may be new requirements, including, but not limited to vaccinations that are issued by local, State, Federal, and/or Funders that WestCare may have to comply with. Should this occur Human Resources or appropriate personnel will inform you.nnEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:nnHigh School diploma or equivalentnnOne (1) year experience within a social service setting or equivalent preferred.nnWORKING CONDITIONS:nnWork is primarily performed by transporting participants from correctional facilities to Community Based Providers.nnTransportation of participants in company vehicle; andnnSome outdoor activities may be required.nnWestCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
