SUMMARYnnPrimary responsibility is to drive trucks and or parts, to pick up and deliver products to on/off site locations and vendors in a safe, professional & cost-effective manner to fulfill company needs.nnESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESnnPerforms pre-trip inspections of truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil and water.nnCapable of flexible work days and hours throughout the week (Monday – Friday)nnAbility to communicate with supervisor on off days to plan ahead.nnDrives truck, equipment & parts safely to assigned locations.nnPick up / deliver parts and equipment to and from customers and vendors, coordinating with manager to make runs efficientnnMaintains contact with supervisor to receive instructions.nnMust have a working knowledge and understanding of safety requirements and DOT regulations.nnCompletes necessary paperwork for truck and parts deliveries.nnMaintains professional appearance and represents the Company by professional demeanor, being courteous with all those coming into contact.nnReports accidents to management immediately, obtaining names, license numbers and other details.nnParticipates in all available training programs.nnMust work with and for all departments in harmony.nnOther duties as assigned.nnCERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSnnMinimum Class B licensennInsurable under company insurance requirementsnnEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEnnA minimum of two years driving experience.nn*SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: *nnThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.nn*LANGUAGE SKILLS *nnAbility to read and interpret documents; ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Must have initiative and the ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives.
