Job DescriptionnnPET Dairy has immediate job openings for dependable CDL-A Route delivery truck drivers to operate a straight truck safely and efficiently and manually unload/deliver various dairy products to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. It takes an incredible team to deliver the goodness of dairy and enrich our communities – come join us!nnEarn up to 70K a year!!!nnRequirementsnnRequirementsnnDrives Tractor Trailer and transports products from location to another (plant, branch).nnMay drop deliver to large accounts; non-driver-controlled order; delivers on a Tractor TrailernnVerify shipment accuracy and assure saleable condition of product.nnTransact proper documentation in computerized hand-held device or paper.nnLoad/unload trucks.nnResolve discrepancies and communicate major issues to Supervisor.nnInspect equipment according to company and DOT regulations; Tractor, trailer, pallet jack, load bars, lift gates.nnMaintain a valid Class A and current DOT medical card. Per Company and/or DOT regulations, report any moving violations to management immediately.nnComplete all daily DOT and customer paperwork including delivery tickets, pre and post trip inspections, driver logs, and vehicle service reports.nnRequired to either transport product across state lines, or if delivering intrastate, to haul some products that originate in other states.nnStock and/or rotate product in warehouse where required.nnUtilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes.nnKnow and comply with all Department of Transportation regulations per the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations handbook.nnFollow Good Manufacturing Practices.nnMaintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area.nnFollow all required work safe practices. This would include wearing of all required PPE in designated areas.nnResponsible for food safety, pre-requisite programs and food quality related to designated area.
