Accenture Flex employees work in their local metro area onsite at the project, significantly reducing and/or eliminating the demands to travel.nnKey Responsibilities:nnHands-on knowledge of SMP/E to install, maintain, test, and configure base DB2 system libraries.nnIMS Database Administration.nnConfigure and maintain DB2 data sharing across multiple Sysplex environments.nnManage and maintain IBM DB2 databases, ensuring their availability, security, and performance.nnProficient skills in z/OS, CICS, JCL, CLIST/REXX Strong troubleshooting skills.nnDesign and implement database solutions that meet business requirements Collaborate with the development team to ensure database solutions are integrated with applications.nnPerform database backups, restores, and disaster recovery procedures Monitor database performance and tune as necessary to optimize performance.nnBasic Qualifications:nnMinimum 3 years of experience as an IBM DB2 DB Administrator or in a similar role, working with IBM DB2 database architecture, administration, and performance tuning.nnMinimum 3 years of SMP/E experience including Installation, maintaining, and configuring base DB2 system libraries.nnHigh School Diploma or GEDnnPreferred Qualifications:nnBachelor degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.nnCompensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
