They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.nnWhat You’ll Do:nnRepair, install, replace, test, and troubleshoot the water and medical gas supply and distribution system.nnInstall new water systems, piping, and fixtures by blueprints, drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.nnEnsure waste and vent lines are in good operating condition using a plumber’s snake, vacuum plunger, or jet washer.nnAssist other staff members or contractors on projects or equipment installations.nnComplete plumbing safety inspections on backflow devices.nnProvide training to other staff members so they can perform light plumbing maintenance and repair.nnPerform general maintenance and building systems operational duties as assigned or directed.nnRespond to emergency situations, summoning extra help as needed.nnFollow all activity policies and procedures, always including all HSE-related requirements.nnComplete all HSE programs & activities as required, including incident investigations, interviews, auditing, and assessment, etc.nnReport any conditions that could result in an accident or injury to management.nnWhat You’ll Need:nnHigh School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Plumbing certification at the Journeyman level required. Medical Gas certification and Backflow certification preferred. Valid Driver’s License required. Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.nnMeet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.nnAbility to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.nnWillingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.nnIn-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
