RN Nights: 11am-7pm. Must have 1 year of Clinic Experience.nnThe Registered Nurse – Clinic/Wellness/Immunization works in a variety of either remote or clinic locations to serve a specific population's health and wellness needs. The Registered Nurse demonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments effectively and efficiently to provide quality appropriate care in accordance with facility’s policies and protocols. These variety of sites include but are not limited to community or employment immunization clinics, wellness clinics, job safety and workers compensation sites and travel health clinics from pediatric to geriatric age populations.nnEssential Duties and Responsibilities:nnEvaluates a patient’s health status, estimates the level of health risk and informs/provides feedback to patients to motivate behavior change to reduce health risksnnIdentifies and prioritizes actions based on patient care requirementsnnPerforms interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and clinic/site policiesnnProvides a safe, comfortable and therapeutic patient environmentnnInitiates patient and family education when appropriatennDocuments patient’s responses to nursing care and other interventions as well as follow up recommendationsnnMonitors the safety and effectiveness of the environment and equipmentnnMust have working knowledge of universal precautionsnnKnowledge of protocols for reporting adverse reactions, incidents, and injuriesnnKnowledge of Workers Compensation assessments and reporting if applicablennKnowledge of Immunization and Vaccine schedules and safetynnAdministers vaccines or any necessary medications per site/facility protocolsnnAppropriately stores, transports, and handles vaccinesnnSafely and appropriately transports biological material, sharps, and other required supplies to clinic sitesnnAppropriately handles and disposes of biological wastennCompletes appropriate participant consent forms and clinic recordsnnInputs information into the client’s database for tracking per policy/protocol and state regulations if applicablennMinimum Requirements:nnCurrent Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practicesnnOne year experience as a nurse in a clinic or immunization setting preferred • Complies with all relevant professional standards of practicennParticipation and completion of Amergis' Competency program when applicablennCurrent CPR if applicablennTB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicablennCurrent Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)nnMust meet all federal, state and local requirementsnnSuccessful completion of new hire training as applicable to job sitennUnderstand patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirementsnnAbility to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills; proficiency in the English language is requirednnComputer proficiency requirednnMust be at least 18 years of agennBenefitsnnAt Amergis, we firmly believe that our employees are the heartbeat of our organization and we are happy to offer the following benefits:nnCompetitive pay & weekly paychecksnnHealth, dental, vision, and life insurancenn401(k) savings plannnAwards and recognition programsnn*Benefit eligibility is dependent on employment status.nnAbout AmergisnnAmergis, formerly known as Maxim Healthcare Staffing, has served our clients and communities by connecting people to the work that matters since 1988.
