We call it Digital Agility.nnTo learn more about how we’re shaping the future of digital business and a more secure world, visit stratascale.com.nnResponsibilitiesnnInclude, but not limited to:nnDesign and implement IaaS and PaaS cloud services for test, development, staging, and production environmentsnnImplement automation to provision, configure, and manage infrastructure, services, and endpointsnnImplement infrastructure monitoring and APM solutions such as DataDog, ELK, Grafana+Prometheus, New Relic, and DynatracennDevelop threat models to ensure services are secure and meet compliance standardsnnMaintain knowledge of current and future cloud technologiesnnBe on-call for services that the team ownsnnQualificationsnnBachelor’s degree or equivalent work experiencenn5+ years of IT infrastructure experiencenn3+ years of experience designing, building, and operating distributed complex software systems on AWS, Azure, or GCPnnExperience with DevOps software development methodsnnExperience with Web Application FirewallnnRequired SkillsnnExperience with Compute, Database, Storage, Networking, and Security services in at least one of the major cloud providers; AWS, Azure, or GCPnnExperience with automation tools like CircleCI, GitLab, GitHub, or JenkinsnnExperience with Linux CLI as well as knowledge of HTTP, REST, JSON, Ansible, CloudFormation, Terraform, Boto3nnExperience with container technologies such as Kubernetes, Tanzu, Rancher, Nomad, AKS, ECS, EKS, or GKEnnExcellent written and verbal communication skillsnnExcellent organizational and time management skillsnnAbility to collaborative with other internal departmentsnnAbility to work independently as well as in a team environmentnnAbility to adapt to changing technology environmentnnPreferred:nnExperience supporting mission critical, 24x7 systemsnnExperience working with AzurennExperience working within Agile/Scrum frameworksnnDemonstrated proficiency with at least one modern general-purpose programming language like Java, C++, Go, Python, etc.nnExperience with event driven architectures and serverless technologies like Amazon API Gateway and AWS LambdannExperience maintaining Microsoft Front Door WAFnnExperience with CMP tools like CloudBolt, Morpheus, or RightScalennExperience with Cost Optimization tools like CloudHealth, Cloudability, CloudCheckr, Flexera One, or Spot Cloud AnalyzernnCertifications RequirednnIf one of the mandatory certifications is not currently held the successful candidate will be required to obtain at least one within 90 days of commencing the role:nnAWS Solution Architect Professional or Azure Solutions ArchitectnnPreferred:nnAdditional Industry Cloud Technology CertificationsnnUnique RequirementsnnPosition requires travel to attend conferences and occasional offsite meetings (10%)nnAdditional InformationnnThe estimated annual pay range for this position is $120,000 - $240,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
