The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of data center design and construction. The role requires leading a multi disciplinary team with a diverse set of stakeholders through all the design milestones including issuance of construction drawings (IFC).nnPost IFC responsibilities include providing design support through construction administration, bulletin management, and close-out. This requires building matrixed teams from internal/external design subject matter experts to ensure high quality design and applicable client processes are being implemented. The Design Project Manager will independently facilitate the creation of a shared plan for execution and ensure oversight of construction administration services provided by the external design team (in support of construction activities).nnDoes require hybrid onsite support in Arlington, VA. Spend at least one day per week onsite for projects within the region.nnWhat you’ll donnManage and incorporate client provided program design standards into local projectnnlevel to capture and configure for complete construction documentationnnCoordinate design activities with teams from design, site services, procurement, and constructionnnFacilitate large scale workshops and kick off meetingsnnFacilitate change management in partnership with program leadership as well as internal and external stakeholdersnnPrepare scopes of work for contracts and secure alignment with internal stakeholdersnnManage basis of design, localizations, as well as administer ongoing design changes throughout the projectnnReport project metrics to leadership regarding schedule, cost, scope, risks and open issues and risksnnProvide design support of Owner Furnished Equipment to ensure submittals and RFI’s are rigorously managed on each projectnnEnsure the issuance of Engineering Bulletins (design changes) to the right party, at the right time, in the right formatnnWhat you’ll neednnTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The minimum salary for this Data Center Design PM position is $160,000 annuallyand the maximum salary for this position is $190,000 annually. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
