Even though there are different teams, the person filling this role must have extensive knowledge of food safety equipment operating in a production facility, strong trouble-shooting skills, and the ability to interact with customers. The different teams are Product Development, Install, Projects, Equipment Service, MARC, and International Project Management. All System Specialists should be able to serve on any team if a need arises.nnManage large scale equipment maintenance, installations, and ongoing efficacy studies with customers across several locations and facilities within a geographic territory.nnEnsure procedures are adhered to when repairing, replacing, and installing equipment.nnDirect, coordinate, and facilitate the repair, maintenance, and installation of assigned equipment projects.nnTroubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment.nnEvaluate the efficacy of the equipment and discuss internally and externally to provide recommendations to ensure customer goals are met.nnProvide regularly scheduled maintenance, repairs, and training of plant personnel in the proper operations and maintenance of system.nnInspect chemical dispensing equipment for conformance with operational standards and sanitary design.nnManage contractors (quality, efficiency, safety)nnExercise independent judgement in business decisions (equipment replacement, delivery concentration targets, warranty claims)nnEnsure proper programming of equipment for optimal performancennPotential for handling hazardous materials (to include removal and disposal)nnWork with the Research and Development team to design and build prototype equipmentnnMonitor customer locations remotely using our MARC system and adjust settings, as necessary.nnCreate scope of work (“SOW”) documents for specific projects.nnInteract with outside contractors to gather quotes, schedule, and oversee work, and ensure all safety protocols are followed .nnConduct site surveys for work to be performed on upcoming projects.nnComplete site acceptance testing (“SAT”) once projects are completed and prior to submitting to customers.nnPerform any other related duties as required or assigned.nnYOUR MUST HAVES:nnHigh School Graduate or General Education Degree (“GED”).nn2 years’ related experiencennAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Must plan, prepare, and follow multi-Facility, multi-state travel schedule.nnDedication to work and promote safety in the workplace.nnWilling to learn and strive in a team environment.nnWHAT WE PREFER YOU HAVE:nnAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
