JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:nn• Under the direction of Senior or Analyst I: analyzes, plans, designs, recommends, reviews, programs, tests and monitors services related to intermediate to complex applications systems, including but not limited to applications programming, software development, software design engineering and web development as applicable.nn• Assists in formulation of procedures and best practice for users of applications.nn• Participates in information system planning with assigned area(s), both short and long term.nnII. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:nn• Essential: finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, speaking.nn• Continuous: sitting, static gripping of an object for prolonged periods.nn• Frequent: walking.nn• Occasional: standing, stooping/bending, climbing stairs, walking on uneven ground, lifting and carrying usual weight of 1 pound up to 5 pounds, reaching above, at and below shoulder level, frequent gripping of an object.nn• Operates computer, calculator, telephone, fax and printer.nnIII. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:nn• Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions.nnIV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:nnA. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:nn• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Information Technology or Computer Science.nn• Based on area of assignment, must successfully complete and maintain certification(s) in the application(s) assigned, and as may be specified per the training agreement.nnB. EXPERIENCE:nn• One (1) year work or volunteer experience preferred.nn• Knowledge of computer technology as related to information systems, telecommunications, networks or client operations.nn• Good understanding in multiple areas of hospital systems, including business/clinical information systems and technological aspects that affect the organization preferred.nn• Depending upon area of assignment, working knowledge in a specific area of IT may be preferred.nnEqual Opportunity Employer/Disability/Vet
