In this role, you will provide assistance and support to our Service Experts HVAC and Plumbing team in various plumbing tasks and projects. Your main responsibilities will include assisting plumbers with installations, repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plumbing systems. The ideal candidate should possess basic knowledge of plumbing systems, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic.nResponsibilities:nnAssist licensed plumbers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, drains, and water heaters.nCarry tools, equipment, and supplies to and from work areas.nPrepare job sites by setting up necessary tools and materials.nDig trenches, excavate ditches, and create access points as required for plumbing installations or repairs.nMeasure, cut, thread, and bend pipes using appropriate tools and techniques.nAssist in the assembly and installation of plumbing fixtures, such as sinks, toilets, showers, and water heaters.nConnect pipes using fittings, soldering, welding, or other approved methods.nInspect plumbing systems and identify any defects or issues.nAssist in troubleshooting plumbing problems and propose appropriate solutions.nClean up job sites and ensure proper disposal of waste materials.nFollow all safety procedures and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.nnHealth & Safety Roles & Responsibilities:nnReports any unsafe acts, conditions and hazards to direct supervisor/manager immediatelynnReports any contravention of legislation or company policy, procedure or program to direct supervisor/manager immediatelynCorrects substandard acts or conditions within area of controlnUses and maintains appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as prescribed by company program(s) or procedure(s)nNever removes or renders ineffective any safety guards, devices, or clothing prescribed to be in place or wornnComplies with the general rules as prescribed by company program(s) procedure(s)nOperates devises or equipment as prescribed by company program(s) or procedure(s)nParticipates in any safety initiatives, teams, or committeesnReports all injuries or incidents as prescribed by company program(s) or procedure(s) immediatelynProvides input on developing safety initiatives and plans to eliminate exposures that could cause accidentsnnQualifications and Requirements:nnHigh school diploma or equivalent.nPrevious experience in a similar plumbing or construction role is preferred but not required.nBasic knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment.nAbility to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.nGood communication and teamwork skills.nStrong work ethic and willingness to learn.nReliable and punctual with excellent time management skills.nAbility to follow instructions and work independently when required.nValid driver's license is preferred.nnWorking Conditions:nnThis position requires physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor tasks.nWork may be performed indoors or outdoors, depending on the project.nExposure to various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and humidity.nMay be required to work in confined spaces or at heights.nSome projects may involve exposure to hazardous materials or chemicals.nnAnnual Compensation: Minimum: $38,257, Maximum: $57,385nnMinimum Salary: 80000.00 Maximum Salary: 80000.00 Salary Unit: Yearly
