Can you picture yourself here?nnThis role REQUIRES previous Heavy Equipment experience, preferably in Snow Removal, you MUST also have a valid Driver's License, Chauffeur's license preferred. CANDIDATES WITH A CHAUFFEUR'S LICENSE WILL BE PRIORITIED OVER CANDIDATES WITH JUST A DRIVER'S LICNESE.nnCandidates whose resume DOES NOT show Heavy Equipment Experience, Snow Removal/Landscaping Experience and State Issued licenses you hold WILL BE REJECTED.nnSTARTING RATE or Minimum RATE OF PAY IS $30 PER HOUR AND COULD INCREASE FROM THERE DEPENDENT UPON PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE AND ANY CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES YOU HOLD.nnHere’s what you’d do:nnThe Snow Equipment Operator must be interested in learning to do all aspects of snow removal during the winter.nnYou’d be responsible for:nnRemoving snow using a snow plow and heavy equipment for several hours at a time, depending on the amount of snowfallnnBeing available each time it snows and report either to a central location or directly to the jobsitennRemoving snow in appropriate locations, avoiding piling it on trees, shrubs, fire hydrants or sidewalksnnReporting any concerns or incidents to your direct SupervisornnFilling out a job sheet as soon as you are finished working after each snow removal operationnnParticipating in maintaining a safe and secure work environment for team employees and clients by adhering to company safety policiesnnBeing aware of safety issues or concerns, and report them to the appropriate SupervisornnPerforming other tasks as assigned by supervisor/managernnYou might be a good fit if you have:nnHigh School Diploma or GEDnnValid Driver's License and the ability to drive to a variety of work locations in assigned territorynnReliable transportation to and from any work sitennAnd while not mandatory, it would be great if you also have:nnPrior experience operating snow plow equipmentnnAbility to participate in routine maintenance of equipmentnnExperience working efficiently in a production-driven / fast paced environmentnnPhysically able to work outside, sometimes in extreme weather conditions with sporadic hours based on a snow eventnnAbility to lift 50 poundsnnAbility to climb in and out of equipmentnnAbility to sit for long periods of timennAbility to safely operate equipmentnnAbility to communicate effectivelynnWilling to dress appropriately for all weather conditionsnnAble to work overnight in the winter monthnnDependabilitynnHere’s what to know about working here:nnHere at BrightView, we’re as passionate about caring for our clients as we are about caring for each other.
