LPN will maintain an appropriate level of knowledge and clinical expertise through continuing education, inservice programs, departmental competencies and self-development activities.nnQUALIFICATIONS:nnEDUCATION:nnMinimum:nnGraduate from an accredited school of Practical Nursing.nnLICENSE:nnMinimum :nnCurrent NYS LPN license.nnPROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:nnMinimum :nnBasic Life Support (BLS) certification through RQI; must obtain within 90 days of hirennWORK EXPERIENCE:nnPreferred:nnPrevious physician office experience preferred.nnSKILLS:nnMinimum:nnDemonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner.nnAbility to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling.nnExcellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills.nnComputer literacynnPreferred :nnExperience with Microsoft Office products and electronic medical recordnnHourly pay range: $26.27-$28.31
