Overview Enjoy excellent benefits while you work for a mission-driven organization. This full-time Revenue Cycle Representative (Billing) position is based in Normal, IL. Responsibilities Support agency management in billing and collections of accounts receivable. Review and submit claims for assigned payer and/or business line. Run a monthly aging report; follow up on unpaid claim balances. Communicate with Utilization Review Coordinator regarding authorizations and appeals, documenting all communication in EHR. Respond to communication from assigned payers. Maintain an organized filing system. Function as a team member, supporting other team members as necessary. Qualifications Position requires a high school diploma or GED plus at least one year of experience in an office clerical or customer service environment. Requires strong keyboarding skills including data entry into electronic records system and website navigation. Preferred: experience with medical billing reimbursement; working with insurance payers and collections; knowledge of medical terminology, coding (CPT, ICD~9/10, HCPC), and insurance reimbursement; electronic medical record systems; Medicare, private insurance, and Medicaid billing requirements.
