Join Our Team as a Locum Psychiatrist in Texas!
Start in February 2025 with a full-time, ongoing position offering a balanced schedule and the opportunity to make a significant impact on both patient care and resident education. In this role, you ll provide inpatient psychiatric care while mentoring psychiatry residents and leading outpatient appointments as part of an IOP. Weeknight and weekend call rotations ensure a diverse and fulfilling work experience.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour break) with weekend/weeknight call rotation
Setting: Inpatient psychiatric unit, 7-14 patients per day
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Psychiatry
- Active Texas State Licensure
- Minimum 24 months of psychiatry experience
- PALS certification
- Comfortable supervising residents and medical students
