The ideal candidate will want to start their own practice with financial support from us. We are looking to create a small veterinary practice that does basic treatments and vaccinations. You can make this job full time or part-time and have the ability to hire other veterinarians or vet techs.

Ideally, the candidate would have experience in another vet office but wanting to branch out on their own. If you want your own practice but can't afford a brick and mortar then please apply. We can get the brick and mortar for you. We are not a veterinary investment firm but are trying to create a small family practice. Must have a strong commitment to animal welfare and possess the skills necessary to provide high-quality medical care focusing primarily on dogs and cats only.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health and diagnose any medical conditions.
  • Develop treatment plans and administer vaccinations, medications, and other therapies as needed.
  • Provide emergency care for injured or ill animals and manage critical cases.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient.
  • Educate pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and preventive health measures.
  • Collaborate with support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
  • Stay updated on advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of animal physiology and anatomy to effectively diagnose and treat conditions.
  • Proficiency in veterinary terminology for clear communication with staff and clients.
  • Ability to handle dogs safely and compassionately during examinations or procedures.
  • Competence in animal restraint techniques to ensure the safety of both the animals and staff during examinations or treatments.
