Sales Professional Job Description

Position Overview  

Sales professionals are responsible for delivering the product our customers need while providing the service they deserve. The position will require identifying and cultivating new customer relationships, understanding their protein needs, finding and negotiating the purchase and sale of products that meet those needs, and ensuring a timely delivery of the product to the customer.

Expectations: 

• Travel is valuable. In-person visits with customers and suppliers help solidify relationships and are always a good investment. One trip per quarter (2-3 days) should be the expectation.  
• You are a self-starter. Our model is very entrepreneurial. We will teach you our systems and processes, but you must be motivated to do the work necessary to be successful. 

Qualifications Necessary  

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2+ years of experience in commodity or protein sales required.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. 
• Exposure and experience in the protein industry.
