We are partnered with a global Energy Development & Trading Company that is looking to bring on a senior originator to structure long term deals, PPA's and help provide commercial / trading opportunities to the Business. This individual must have deep renewable market relationships to execute offtake agreements as well.

This position is located in Houston, TX and reports to the Head of Power Marketing & Origination

Responsibilities:

• Create valuable transaction opportunities for the business by generating new customer acquisitions
• Negotiate various contractual agreements inclusive of PPA's and structured trades
• Represent the business at conferences, client events and presentations
• Succeed in a team based environment
• Review and evaluate RFPs, work with the team to respond with proposals and coordinate pricing

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics or similar discipline (or equivalent through experience) is preferred
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in North American markets
• Excellent commercial skills
• Proven ability to develop and expand valuable relationships with energy clients
• Strong knowledge of structured power products (options; PPAs; load following) for the North American wholesale markets
• Talent for deal structuring and managing a deal process
