Fairmont Logistics is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Leader to lead our cross-border sales team in Laredo, TX. This person will have to opportunity to be a cornerstone piece of a new office, with strategy and hiring influence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sales plans to achieve company targets and expand our customer base. The ideal candidate should have experience in cross-boarder (MX) freight movements, familiarity with warehousing and over-the-road solutions, and growing accounts within the Mexico freight market. The responsibilities will include some P&L ownership of the office, sales/operations team management, and growing a customer base. This person should be a self-starter, highly motivated, positive culture-driver and embrace the opportunity to eventually move into the General Manager role. Candidates fluent in both English and Spanish are a plus. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets

- Develop and implement effective sales strategies
- Prospect customers and lead a growing book of business
- Manage key customer accounts and maintain strong relationships
- Analyze sales data and trends to provide insights for decision-making
- Assist in the hiring of a growing sales team
-Provide input to Executive Team about cross-boarder and warehousing logistics options
- Maintain a positive work environment
- Present data and reporting to the Vice President of Sales
- Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities
- Negotiate contracts and close deals with clients
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities
- Implement operational best practices in logistics, and coach accurate order-entry etc.
*Qualifications*
-Proven cross-boarder freight sales and operational experience
-Experience in the Mexico logistics market
- Proven experience in a sales leadership role
- Proven sales in logistics industry and growing a book of business
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency in sales techniques, account management, and 3PL sales
- Ability to analyze data and logistics industry trends
- Demonstrated success in managing a high-performing sales team
- Prompt, professional, and a leader by example
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics or a related field.
- 3+ years in logistics sales capacity, preferrably also in a management role
