Pacific Executive Search has been engaged on a search for a VP of Finance in the Los Angeles area in the Service and Manufacturing industry. As the VP of Finance, you would be responsible for the company's financial strategies including overseeing FP&A and regulation compliance. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies in line with organizational goals.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to provide insights into financial performance.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with GAAP standards and regulations.
- Identify and assess financial risks, implementing strategies to mitigate them and maintain internal controls.
- Manage cash flow, investments, and banking relationships to optimize liquidity and maximize returns.
- Evaluate capital allocation decisions to support long-term growth and shareholder value creation.
- Improve financial systems, processes, and infrastructure for efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Provide leadership to the finance team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. CPA or CFA certification highly desirable.
- 5-7+ years in management with a senior leadership role and at least 10-12+ years in finance.
- Extensive knowledge of financial management principles, practices, and regulations.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to influence and collaborate effectively.
