Job Description

Pacific Executive Search has been engaged on a search for a VP of Finance in the Los Angeles area in the Service and Manufacturing industry. As the VP of Finance, you would be responsible for the company's financial strategies including overseeing FP&A and regulation compliance. This role offers the opportunity to lead a finance team, drive financial success, and enhance your leadership and strategic thinking skills in a dynamic large organization.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies in line with organizational goals.
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to provide insights into financial performance.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with GAAP standards and regulations.
  • Identify and assess financial risks, implementing strategies to mitigate them and maintain internal controls.
  • Manage cash flow, investments, and banking relationships to optimize liquidity and maximize returns.
  • Evaluate capital allocation decisions to support long-term growth and shareholder value creation.
  • Improve financial systems, processes, and infrastructure for efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Provide leadership to the finance team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. CPA or CFA certification highly desirable.
  • 5-7+ years in management with a senior leadership role and at least 10-12+ years in finance.
  • Extensive knowledge of financial management principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to influence and collaborate effectively.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities to inspire and motivate teams for exceptional results.
  • High integrity, ethical standards, and commitment to professionalism.
