Alchemy is assisting a well-established moving company with its search for a Dispatcher to join their team based in Woodbridge, VA

The Dispatcher is in charge of assigning crews and trucks to locations in response to client requests, ensuring that their requirements are satisfied quickly and effectively.

Responsibilities of the role include:

• Creation of daily schedules.
• Collaborating with quality controllers, supervisors, and work teams to guarantee that orders for shipments, communications, and other pertinent information are successfully sent.
• Handling both commercial and residential relocations.
• Assisting and coordinating with the drivers, loaders, and packers for both local and long-distance transfers.
• Resolve issues with equipment or services and respond to any questions or requests.
• Verify that safety and maintenance schedules are being followed.
• Verify that the staff are appropriately observed to guarantee high-quality, efficient service.
• Other ad hoc tasks when needed.

Requirements for the role include:

• Prior coordination and dispatching experience working for a moving and relocation company.
• Strong communication skills, both in writing and speaking.
• A good sense of detail and the ability to work well with others.
