HR Manager

We are assisting our client in their search for a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager to join their team in Houston, TX. This critical role is ideal for a bilingual professional fluent in Spanish and English, with a strong background in manufacturing and a proven track record of leadership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategic HR Oversight: Manage key HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and organizational development.
  • Policy Implementation: Enforce and monitor company policies and programs in training, compensation, compliance, and benefits to attract and retain top talent.
  • HR Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws (EEOC, FMLA, FLSA, etc.).
  • Employee Development: Identify training needs, develop programs (e.g., onboarding, safety, leadership), and support employee growth.
  • HRIS & Payroll Management: Oversee accurate maintenance of employee records in HRIS and payroll systems.
  • Conflict Resolution: Conduct and resolve employee investigations with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Leadership Support: Provide expert advice to management on performance management, conflict resolution, and employment policies.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field OR 7–10 years of relevant HR experience.
  • Proven leadership in HR within a manufacturing environment.
  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is required.
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Expertise in HR software, including ADP, and workers' compensation claims management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong performance management experience, including goal setting and feedback processes.
