IT SAP Senior Manager

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT SAP Senior Manager for our repeat client. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of hands-on experience in SAP, particularly within a manufacturing environment. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage a high-performing team and extensive experience in SAP implementation projects. The successful candidate will also be involved in hands-on SAP work, ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT solutions aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability.
• Allocate resources, set performance goals, and provide regular feedback to team members.

SAP Implementation and Management:

• Oversee full lifecycle SAP implementation projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Evaluate, configure, and optimize SAP modules to meet evolving business needs.
• Ensure seamless integration of SAP with other enterprise systems.

Hands-On Technical Expertise:

• Actively contribute to SAP configuration, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Provide technical expertise in customizing and enhancing SAP functionalities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective IT solutions.

Strategic IT Initiatives:

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand and prioritize IT needs.
• Develop and execute IT strategies to enhance manufacturing processes and support business growth.
• Ensure compliance with IT governance, security, and industry standards.
• Certifications and Continuous Learning:
• Stay updated on the latest SAP trends, tools, and certifications.
• Drive adoption of emerging technologies to improve IT capabilities within the organization.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 10-15 years of SAP experience, including hands-on configuration, implementation, and support. Manufacturing industry experience is required.
• Leadership: Proven track record of managing and mentoring IT teams.
• Technical Skills: Expertise in SAP modules (e.g., MM, PP, SD, FICO) and integration with other IT systems.
• Project Management: Strong experience in leading end-to-end SAP implementation projects.
• Certifications: Relevant IT certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Professional, PMP, ITIL, or similar).
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
